Welcome to Mrs. Lukes' Art Page!

I am an art teacher in four Downers Grove elementary schools. I currently teach K-6 art at Lester, Fairmount, Belle Aire and Henry Puffer Schools. I love to draw and painting is my favorite medium. Life drawing, or the drawing of people is my favorite form of art. In the Downers Grove schools we see our artists every other week for forty minutes. We incorporate art history with a wide variety of media. Lately, we have been exploring digital art through the use of our new ipad!
