Problem: How much will it grow in three months?
Hypothesis: If it will grow then it will grow over three inches.
Materials: Meter stick, measuring tape, and tree.
Procedure:
1-Start by measuring the tree with Meter stick
2-Then record the data
3-Record the temperature, and weather conditions
4-Measure the diameter by using the measuring tape
5-Record your results for three months
6-Organize your records by days
Results:
Day 1- 230 cm, mild wind, sunny, 9 cm diameter
Day 2- 230 cm, no wind, sunny, 9 cm diameter
Day 3- 231 cm, mild wind, sunny, cold, 10 cm diameter
Day 4- 232 cm, mild wind, sunny, very cold, 10 cm diameter, leaves are dead
Day 5- 234 cm, mild wind, 10 cm diameter

I think if you check it while the weather was cold to see if it had grow or if the color has changed. In the results maybe you could put the color of the leafs and the color of the bark.

The temp of the tree might affect its growth.
