Problem: Is the growth of the tree branch faster or slower during the different seasons?
Hypothesis: If it is summer and spring, then the tree branches will grow faster then if it were to be fall or winter because it will receive more sunlight and nutrients during the sunnier seasons
Materials:Crab apple tree, Crab apple tree branches that we choose to measure.
Procedure:
1. Mark three tree branches by tying a piece of string around the thickest part of the branch.
2. Measure the branch from where it connects to the trunk to the tip of the branch.
3. Measure all three tree branches.
4. Record measurements.
5. Repeat step 2 through 4 once a week.

How much has the tree grown over the past few weeks? And I like your tree, it's the same as ours!
